Learn To Meditate

Learn To Meditate

New course Monday 17th October - Thursday 27th October!

Love or hate it, it's the most important part of your yoga practice and the usually the hardest part to commit to. Most people think meditation is sitting as still as possible with your eyes closed and trying to think of nothing ... yet that's completely different from how we do things in the Kundalini Yoga lineage! Sure, sitting quietly in stillness can be part of it, but in Kundalini meditations there are many different styles of meditation using different techniques to still the mind and focus your awareness. Some people love to chant mantras (no, it's not the same as singing...!), others prefer to use breathing techniques (there's so much more than just taking deep breaths...). What's important is finding a type of meditation that works for you, where you can let the outside world fall away to find peace and stillness within.

‘Learn to Meditate’ is a short and sweet series of 7 minute meditations that will allow you to experience the different types of meditation. As you journey through the 11 days you will go deeper and deeper into meditation as you discover which meditations that you love most.

After the 11 days it is suggested to pick your favourite meditation and commit to a 40 day meditation practise where you do the same meditation daily. Consistency will help you to peel back the layers of the mind and go deep within yourself to discover your boundless potential.

Remember, the days you do not want to do a meditation is probably the day you need it the most!
